No Raw Database Data Claim

For clarity, this document does not claim that Quintin N. Mahan owns raw facts, raw database rows, independent outside source records, CRS-owned operational records, customer-owned records, third-party-owned records, or customer relationships merely because such information is entered into, stored in, processed by, displayed through, backed up with, or exported from EC.

This document protects EC Protected Materials: the application, software, source code, schemas, database design, data model, relationships, indexes, workflows, dashboards, reports, queries, automations, integrations, APIs, access controls, credentials, hardware, infrastructure, legal records, certificate records, hashes, metadata systems, audit systems, methods, processes, techniques, trade secrets, documentation, and EC-created structural organization.

1. Purpose

This Device, BYOD, and Display Account Policy explains requirements and expectations for devices used to access Employee Center (“EC”), including personal devices, company devices, tablets, phones, laptops, wallboards, display accounts, dashboard devices, and admin devices.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all devices accessing EC through browsers, apps, dashboards, APIs, automations, service accounts, kiosk views, display views, or admin tools.

Covered devices may include personal phones, company phones, tablets, iPads, wallboards, dashboard tablets, desktop computers, laptops, Raspberry Pis, shared devices, remote devices, and field devices.

3. Device Security

Users should access EC only from devices appropriate for authorized EC use.

Devices should be protected against unauthorized access, malware, credential theft, session theft, and physical misuse.

Users should not save EC credentials on untrusted devices or leave EC open on shared devices.

4. Personal Devices

Use of a personal device to access EC does not transfer EC ownership or create personal ownership of EC data, records, sessions, cookies, credentials, reports, dashboards, screenshots, or exports.

Users accessing EC from personal devices remain subject to EC Terms and policies.

5. Company Devices

Use of a company device to access EC does not transfer ownership of EC to the company and does not give the company the right to seize, copy, clone, or control EC.

Company devices may be used only for authorized EC-related purposes.

6. Display and Wallboard Accounts

Display accounts may be limited-purpose accounts used for dashboards, wallboards, shared screens, or read-only views.

Display accounts should not be used for personal work, admin access, data entry, exports, or bypassing normal user permissions unless authorized.

7. Shared Devices

Users should sign out of EC when finished using a shared device.

Users must not use another person’s active session, leave confidential EC data visible to unauthorized persons, or use shared devices to bypass access controls.

8. Screenshots and Local Copies

Users may not take screenshots, downloads, cached copies, or local copies of EC data except for authorized EC-related purposes.

Screenshots and local copies remain subject to EC Terms and policies.

9. Lost, Stolen, or Compromised Devices

Users must promptly report lost, stolen, compromised, or suspicious devices if those devices had EC access, saved credentials, active sessions, tokens, screenshots, exports, or EC data.

EC may revoke sessions, rotate credentials, restrict access, or preserve logs.

10. Owner/Admin Devices

Quintin N. Mahan may use owner/admin devices to operate, maintain, secure, support, preserve, and defend EC.

No user or company may seize, disable, copy, or interfere with owner/admin devices used for EC control.

11. Changes to This Policy

Quintin N. Mahan may update this policy by publishing a new active version in EC.

Older versions may remain stored in Postgres for audit, evidence, and historical review.
