For clarity, this document does not claim that Quintin N. Mahan owns raw facts, raw database rows, independent outside source records, CRS-owned operational records, customer-owned records, third-party-owned records, or customer relationships merely because such information is entered into, stored in, processed by, displayed through, backed up with, or exported from EC.
This document protects EC Protected Materials: the application, software, source code, schemas, database design, data model, relationships, indexes, workflows, dashboards, reports, queries, automations, integrations, APIs, access controls, credentials, hardware, infrastructure, legal records, certificate records, hashes, metadata systems, audit systems, methods, processes, techniques, trade secrets, documentation, and EC-created structural organization.

1. Purpose
This policy explains that Employee Center (“EC”) may maintain an official asset register and ownership schedule identifying EC-controlled assets, systems, repositories, devices, credentials, storage locations, infrastructure, exhibits, and related ownership evidence.
The asset register is intended to support ownership clarity, audit history, legal preservation, continuity, disaster recovery, security, and dispute prevention.
2. Scope
This policy applies to EC assets including source-code repositories, servers, containers, deployment files, database systems, schemas, backups, storage paths, domains, DNS records, reverse proxies, credentials, service accounts, API keys, OAuth connections, hardware, phones, Raspberry Pis, modems, caller ID devices, network collectors, legal exhibits, certificate systems, and documentation.
3. Asset Register
EC may maintain an asset register listing EC-controlled assets.
The register may include:
- asset name;
- asset type;
- description;
- owner;
- administrator;
- location;
- hostname;
- IP address where appropriate;
- repository path;
- backup path;
- vendor;
- credential owner;
- related policy;
- related exhibit;
- acquisition or creation date;
- retirement date;
- notes.
4. Ownership Schedule
EC may maintain ownership schedules, exhibits, appendices, or internal notes describing what belongs to Quintin N. Mahan, what is licensed for use, what is third-party-owned, and what is merely connected to EC.
An ownership schedule may be used as evidence of EC ownership, control, maintenance responsibility, and legal preservation.
5. No Company Ownership by Listing
Listing a CRS-related asset, vendor, customer system, integration, or business system in the EC asset register does not transfer that outside asset to Quintin N. Mahan.
Likewise, listing EC assets used by CRS does not transfer EC ownership to CRS.
6. Updates
The asset register may be updated as EC changes.
Assets may be added, removed, archived, renamed, reclassified, or linked to other records at Quintin N. Mahan’s discretion.
7. Confidentiality
The asset register may contain sensitive information and may be owner/admin-only.
Users and companies may not demand, copy, export, publish, or disclose the asset register unless authorized by Quintin N. Mahan or required by lawful process.
8. Evidence Use
The asset register may be used to support ownership claims, continuity planning, legal holds, disaster recovery, security review, credential rotation, and transition planning.
Changes to This Policy
Quintin N. Mahan may update this policy by publishing a new active version in EC.
The current active version will be displayed through the Legal hub or Policies hub.
Older versions may remain stored in Postgres for audit, evidence, legal history, and historical review.
